About Us
Who We Are
Brain Power Development Centre (BPDC) is a non-profit organization based in Takoradi, Ghana, dedicated to the eradication of extreme poverty and hunger. Founded in 2013, BPDC’s vision is to contribute to a safe Ghana without poverty by devoting resources to the improvement of the younger generation and creating lasting solutions for families to break free from the cycle of poverty.
BPDC partner projects rely on the support of volunteers from around the world. The projects are chosen to assist in fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals. Volunteers assist impoverished rural communities in Ghana with solution-oriented projects that will enable local people to release themselves out of poverty. We focus on empowering people, particularly young and disadvantaged groups so that they can become agents of proactive change within their communities.
BPDC is actively involved in fighting child labor, promoting the importance of education, and creating a safe environment in Ghana, being one of the key human rights.
You can support BPDC’s valuable projects in Ghana in three different ways. Become a volunteer on a BPDC project, partner with BPDC through sponsorship, or donate towards one of BPDC’s projects. If you would like any more information about BPDC and our projects, please contact us at any time.
